At present, the Museum of National History in Olomouc has over 1,000,000 collection items and, in terms of the scope of its collection, is one of the largest museums in the Czech Republic. Due to the nature of the collection in the field of social and natural sciences, it covers not only Central Moravia, but also a wider area with overlaps abroad. The museum offers several halls for cultural, social and corporate events.
